I started a dual enrollment program during my last two years in high school where I received my Associates in Criminal Justice at the same time as graduating high school in Spring 2017. In the fall of 2017, I started studying for my Bachelors degree in Accounting.
During my time at university, I worked part-time as a campus security patrol officer and I had an internship during my final year helping low income families and individuals file their taxes. My graduation year looked a lot different than I expected as it was supposed to happen Spring 2020 peak COVID-19 lockdowns and social distancing. The date was moved to Fall 2020 with social distancing enforced.
In fall of 2021, Bekah approached me with her vision for her business. It was and still is a vision I resonate with. I was one of the first people to join her team. Starting as a part-time contractor, I have grown into a full-time employee as the Accounting Supervisor for our team at Perfectly Polley.
